What You’ll Do

• Implement environmental empowerment programmes to promote sustainability in local schools and educational institutions.

• Develop and manage environmental awareness programmes that encourage community participation in conservation efforts.
• Perform various administrative functions related to environmental projects and programmes.

What You’ll Need

• A National Senior Certificate coupled with a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Environmental Management, Natural Sciences, Nature Conservation, Environmental Law, or a related field.
• No prior experience is required, but 1-2 years of relevant experience will be considered an advantage.
• A solid understanding of Community-based Natural Resource Management and Biological Diversity Management.
• Proficiency in computer skills and good writing and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with applicable environmental legislation, including the National Environmental Management Act and the NEM Protected Areas Act.
• A valid driver’s licence is essential.
