What You’ll Do
- Conduct specialized environmental impact management processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop Records of Decisions (RODs) and authorizations in line with environmental legislation.
- Provide technical and procedural advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the implementation of Integrated Environmental Management (IEM) tools.
- Manage administrative functions related to environmental assessments and reporting.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Environmental Management, Natural Sciences, Nature Conservation, Environmental Law, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is an advantage, though no prior experience is required as per OSD requirements.
- Knowledge of Community-based Natural Resource Management and Biological Diversity Management.
- Proficiency in computer skills and effective communication.
- A valid driver’s license is essential for this role.
