What You’ll Do

• Assist engineers with various technical activities related to civil engineering.
• Promote safety standards in adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and update maintenance manuals, standard drawings, and procedures to integrate new technologies.
• Produce technical designs with detailed specifications for projects.
• Help manage the implementation of maintenance strategies through effective resource allocation.
• Set engineering maintenance standards and specifications in line with organizational objectives.
• Design systems to collect accurate data on the utilities used by health facilities.
• Train administrative staff on data collection methods.
• Validate utility usage and draft reports highlighting findings.
• Identify instances of excessive resource usage and recommend improvements.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning for engineering projects.
• Compile and submit necessary reports and documentation as required.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on new technologies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate.
• A National Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or a relevant qualification.
• Three years of working experience post-qualification as an Engineering Technician (Electrical).
• Registration with ECSA as an Engineering Technician (Electrical).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role.
