What You’ll Do

• Provide expert input on technical and functional norms and standards related to electrical engineering.
• Monitor infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with approved engineering standards.
• Prepare and update reports on the feasibility and impact of proposed engineering solutions.
• Conduct evaluations of existing technical manuals and specifications to incorporate new technologies.
• Undertake preliminary costing and prepare technical specifications for electrical installations.
• Offer professional and technical advice through reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Stay informed on the health sector’s legal framework and policy changes impacting engineering practices.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B Eng/BSc (Eng) or relevant qualification).
• At least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a related field.
• Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Mechanical).
• A valid Driver’s licence and proficiency in computer applications.
