What You’ll Do
- Provide expert input on technical and functional norms and standards related to electrical engineering.
- Monitor infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with approved engineering standards.
- Prepare and update reports on the feasibility and impact of proposed engineering solutions.
- Conduct evaluations of existing technical manuals and specifications to incorporate new technologies.
- Undertake preliminary costing and prepare technical specifications for electrical installations.
- Offer professional and technical advice through reports, calculations, and specifications.
- Stay informed on the health sector’s legal framework and policy changes impacting engineering practices.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B Eng/BSc (Eng) or relevant qualification).
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a related field.
- Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Mechanical).
- A valid Driver’s licence and proficiency in computer applications.
