What You’ll Do
- Implement educational programs at facilities in accordance with curriculum requirements and departmental legislation.
- Develop and enforce facility policies and procedures to ensure the safety and development of residents.
- Manage administrative functions related to educational programs and residents’ development.
- Stay updated on new developments in the fields of social work and social welfare through continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with other professionals to enhance educational offerings and support services.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year post-school qualification.
- Registration with SACE as a professional educator.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an Educationalist or Educator.
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.
- Knowledge of public service procedures, applicable policies, and financial management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
