What You’ll Do

• Supervise and provide support to social work employees engaged in service delivery.
• Conduct assessments to identify conditions requiring intervention.
• Develop and plan relevant social work programs to address identified needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented interventions.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and policies in the field of social work.
• Maintain comprehensive records of social work interventions and outcomes.
• Provide continuous guidance, counselling, and support to supervisees.

What You’ll Need

• A 4-year tertiary qualification in social work (degree/diploma) that allows registration with SACSSP.
• Registration and proof of current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in social work post-registration.
• Valid Code B (or higher) driving license.
• Knowledge of social work theory, legislation, and interventions.
• Strong skills in personnel management, project planning, and communication.
