What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the integration of planning and resource allocation through the Corporate Governance Framework.
- Monitor and evaluate the planning processes of provincial offices to ensure alignment with annual performance plans.
- Lead the development of corporate performance monitoring and evaluation systems to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Conduct research and evaluations to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide professional advice and support to senior management on governance and community planning initiatives.
- Generate comprehensive reports on performance risks and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Establish and maintain networks with stakeholders to share best practices and lessons learned.
- Oversee the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for key departmental programs.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related fields (NQF Level 7).
- A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) is required prior to appointment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in an operations support environment.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- In-depth understanding of corporate governance principles and government systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
- Experience in project management and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and a willingness to travel.
