What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support for leases and caretaker agreements.
  • Manage compliance monitoring of lease agreements.
  • Maintain and compile the lease register for effective tracking.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution related to property management.
  • Administer services related to immovable assets, including agricultural and commercial leases.
  • Conduct investigations on state land usage and maintenance practices.
  • Oversee the verification of immovable assets and facilitate surveying processes.
  • Provide secretariat services to the Provincial State Land Vesting and Disposal Committee.
  • Coordinate property disposals and manage the signing of agreements.
  • Facilitate payments for water usage, municipality rates, and taxes.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Real Estate, LLB, Property Law, or a related field (NQF Level 7).
  • A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) must be submitted prior to appointment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in property management.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Job-related knowledge in project management, budgetary planning, and risk management.
  • Strong communication, people management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and a willingness to travel.
