What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership in the implementation of the NARYSEC programme.
- Develop integrated operational plans aligned with departmental goals.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of IOP reports.
- Identify and secure partnerships to enhance the NARYSEC initiative.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to promote the programme.
- Oversee skills development initiatives for youth at the provincial level.
- Prepare and submit training approval requests for skills development interventions.
- Manage financial and human resources for the NARYSEC programme.
- Ensure quality assurance in the administration of stipends and training provider invoices.
- Facilitate the recruitment of unemployed rural youth into the NARYSEC sub-programme.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Education, Training, Skills Development, Human Resource Development, Development Studies, Social Science, or Public Relations (NQF Level 7).
- A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) submitted prior to appointment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in middle or senior management roles within youth development programmes.
- Strong knowledge of relevant policies, legislation, and institutional governance systems.
- Skills in critical thinking, planning, communication, teamwork, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
