What You’ll Do
- Strengthen systems for epidemic preparedness and response in alignment with international health regulations.
- Conduct quarterly meetings to assess the implementation of the National Action Plan on Health Services.
- Facilitate the development and enforcement of health policies and guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communicable disease control programs.
- Coordinate epidemiology and surveillance efforts related to communicable diseases.
- Manage resources, risks, and audit queries effectively.
- Foster collaboration with regional and international partners to combat communicable diseases.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and an NQF Level 7 qualification in Health Sciences.
- An NQF Level 8 qualification in Health Science is an advantage.
- At least five years of experience in health management at a middle or senior management level.
- Knowledge of the Health Act, PFMA, and procurement policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication abilities.
- A valid driver’s license and an SMS pre-entry certificate required for appointment finalization.
