What You’ll Do

• Strengthen systems for epidemic preparedness and response in alignment with international health regulations.
• Conduct quarterly meetings to assess the implementation of the National Action Plan on Health Services.
• Facilitate the development and enforcement of health policies and guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communicable disease control programs.
• Coordinate epidemiology and surveillance efforts related to communicable diseases.
• Manage resources, risks, and audit queries effectively.
• Foster collaboration with regional and international partners to combat communicable diseases.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate and an NQF Level 7 qualification in Health Sciences.
• An NQF Level 8 qualification in Health Science is an advantage.
• At least five years of experience in health management at a middle or senior management level.
• Knowledge of the Health Act, PFMA, and procurement policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication abilities.
• A valid driver’s license and an SMS pre-entry certificate required for appointment finalization.
