What You’ll Do
- Support the implementation of educator appraisal processes within provinces.
- Conduct monitoring and oversight visits to evaluate compliance with performance management policies.
- Compile detailed progress reports to track performance metrics and improvements.
- Set up digital platforms for evaluating educator performance data.
- Collect and analyze reports from provinces to assess the impact of the Quality Management System on educational outcomes.
- Develop strategies to enhance accountability in schools and address areas of under-performance.
- Establish linkages between the Directorate and various stakeholders to promote collaborative efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your superiors.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year post-matric qualification (NQF level 6) or equivalent recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of four years’ relevant experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Director.
- Proven experience in managing employee performance systems and conducting school evaluations.
- Strong understanding of human resource matters related to educator performance management.
- Knowledge of the National Development Plan 2030 and relevant education policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in report writing and presentations.
- Strong computer literacy and people management skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
