The Department of Treasury is seeking a dedicated Deputy Director: Municipal Financial Assets and Liabilities based in Johannesburg. What You’ll Do

• Manage and oversee the monitoring of provincial grants in local government.

• Provide support to municipalities in relation to provincial grants management.
• Manage and optimize resources dedicated to provincial grants oversight.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 7 qualification in Financial Accounting or Auditing.
• A valid driver’s license.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory or junior management role within the local government sphere, specifically in Provincial Grants Management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and resource management.
