What You’ll Do

  • Develop and monitor policies and guidelines for Organisational Functionality Assessments.
  • Provide technical support to provincial and national departments on institutionalizing the functionality assessment Directive.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation of compliance with the Directive on Organisational Functionality Assessments.
  • Support operations, systems, and processes within the Directorate to improve overall functionality.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate and a minimum qualification at NQF Level 7 in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Public Administration, or similar, recognized by SAQA.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Assistant Director level or first-level management role.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational development, monitoring and evaluation, or strategic planning environments.
  • Knowledge of government legislative frameworks and public service policy frameworks.
  • Strong functional skills in communication, stakeholder management, and analytical abilities.
  • Attributes that include problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to handle pressure effectively.
