What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a corporate governance charter across all committees in the Fund.
  • Conduct research to identify and adopt best practices in corporate governance.
  • Maintain the effectiveness of corporate governance structures within the Fund.
  • Formulate and implement legislation compliance processes.
  • Manage resources effectively within the sub-directorate.

What You’ll Need

  • A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Corporate Governance, Business Management, Administration, Auditing, or Law.
  • Five years of relevant experience, with at least three years in a functional role related to Corporate Governance, Business Management, Administration, Auditing, or Law.
  • Two years of experience at a management level.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), Public Service Act (PSA), Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations (UIAR), and Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act (UICA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, time management, and numeracy skills.

Requirements

Three (3) years tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Corporate Governance/ Business Management or Administration / Auditing / Law.

Five (5) years’ experience of which three (3) years must be functional experience in Corporate Governance/ Business Management or Administration/ Auditing/ Law and two (2) years’ experience at a management level.

Salary

R932 292 per annum, (all inclusive) CENTERE : Unemployment Insurance Fund, Pretoria
