What You’ll Do

  • Manage the NaTIS system for motor vehicle and driver license processing.
  • Oversee routine maintenance projects and ensure the calibration of testing machines.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication and address concerns.
  • Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with quality, time, and budget standards.
  • Manage documentation and records within the Provincial Registering Authority Centre.
  • Develop and oversee the budget for the centre, ensuring timely submission of reports.
  • Implement risk management strategies to prevent fraud and corruption.
  • Lead human resource functions, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Compile and submit monthly reports and evaluations for centre operations.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 6/7 qualification in Public Administration, Finance, or related fields.
  • Valid Examiner of Driving License or Examiner of Motor Vehicles certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience at Assistant Director Level.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of GPG policies, public service regulations, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong skills in community relations, stakeholder management, and financial management.
  • Competency in research, computer utilization, and business performance management.
