What You’ll Do

• Manage the Physical Asset Management processes effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure comprehensive Asset and Inventory Control and Systems Management.
• Develop and implement policies, frameworks, and strategies for asset management.
• Oversee asset planning, reporting, and compliance with regulations.
• Manage the resources of the Sub-directorate to meet operational goals.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate three-year National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Asset Management, or Cost and Management Accounting at NQF Level 6 recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of 3 years’ junior management experience in relevant fields such as Supply Chain Management or Asset Management.
• A valid driver’s license.
• In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management policies, Asset Management, and related legislation.
• Strong people management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Attributes such as integrity, teamwork, and commitment to public service.
