What You’ll Do
- Capture and input data from court records into specified formats, such as databases and spreadsheets.
- Verify and validate data accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain and secure records and files, ensuring they are properly sorted and stored.
- Provide relevant information to court components as needed.
- Conduct regular backups of all captured data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT issues, reporting faults promptly.
- Capture court rolls and pre-schedule cases before proceedings commence.
- Record court proceedings and manage annotations accurately.
- Transfer court recordings to the site server at regular intervals.
- Safeguard all court documents while in your possession, ensuring confidentiality.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate is required.
- No previous experience is necessary for this role.
- A valid driver’s license will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of clerical duties and data capturing processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and customer service.
- Strong planning, organizing, problem-solving, analytical, and numeric skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining self-motivated and detail-oriented.
