What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate the People Development & Training component’s work and responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement policy frameworks and operational plans for Skills Development within the department.
  • Establish a quality assurance system guided by relevant benchmarks.
  • Oversee budget administration for the People Development and Training component.
  • Ensure compliance with skills development legislation and policies.
  • Implement projects and programmes related to internships, bursaries, and workplace skills plans.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Three-year National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
  • Appropriate experience in People Development and Training.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Strong planning, people management, and organizational skills.
  • Good problem analysis and computer literacy, including MS Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under pressure.
  • Project management knowledge and capabilities.
