What You’ll Do
- Manage and coordinate conservation services within the area of operation
- Ensure the sustainable use of biodiversity and coastline
- Oversee environmental empowerment and project services
- Implement environmental impact assessments and waste management initiatives
- Coordinate sustainable air quality services
- Enforce compliance with environmental legislation and regulations
- Perform various administrative and related functions
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate plus a 4-year degree/NQF Level 8 or equivalent in Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, Nature Conservation, Environmental Law, or related fields
- A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience
- A valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the Public Service Act and NEMA
- Well-developed communication and reporting skills
- Strong planning, coordination, and project management abilities
- Financial and budgeting knowledge, including technical and financial reporting
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Competency in using computer applications
