What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and analyze data related to communicable diseases for effective surveillance
  • Coordinate responses to disease outbreaks, including contact tracing and community screenings
  • Conduct support visits to clinics to ensure adherence to health protocols and frameworks
  • Facilitate clinical training and mentorship for nursing staff on managing infectious diseases
  • Compile and submit monthly and quarterly performance reports regarding health initiatives

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate/Grade 12 and a Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing)
  • Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant nursing experience
  • Specialized experience in Communicable Diseases Control services is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A valid driver’s license
