What You’ll Do

  • Maintain cleanliness in and around SAPS premises, ensuring a hygienic environment.
  • Dust furniture and vacuum floors and carpets regularly.
  • Mop tiled floors and clean bathrooms to uphold high standards of hygiene.
  • Safeguard and handle a variety of cleaning materials responsibly.
  • Perform routine tasks efficiently to support the overall operations of the department.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in the core functions of the Cleaner role.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • A valid ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7 certificate (NQF Level 1 recognized by SAQA).
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
  • Ability to operate basic cleaning machines and equipment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours if necessary.
