What You’ll Do

• Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning assigned SAPS premises, including inner and outer areas.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors.
• Dispose of refuse and manage waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms and kitchens to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Safeguard and handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as necessary.
• Support garden maintenance services to enhance the outdoor areas of the premises.
• Wash and clean state vehicles, kitchenware, and utensils when required.

What You’ll Need

• Competency in the core functions of the Cleaning role.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
• South African citizenship with documentary proof available during the interview.
• A valid ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7 certificate (NQF Level 1 recognized by SAQA).
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and officials.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Understanding of how to handle cleaning detergents and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
