What You’ll Do

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in offices, conference rooms, and public spaces to maintain cleanliness.
  • Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and polish surfaces to ensure a tidy environment.
  • Clean toilets and remove refuse to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness in passages, floors, and stairs.
  • Carry out ad hoc cleaning duties as required by management.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in the core functions of the Cleaner role.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
  • ABET Level 4 / Grade 9 / Standard 7 certificate (NQF Level 1 recognized by SAQA).
  • Understanding of cleaning detergents and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Professional interaction skills with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to operate basic cleaning machines and equipment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
