About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the installation and maintenance of ICT communication systems and networks.
- Provide support for Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
- Monitor network performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Conduct user administration in departmental systems.
- Ensure the security of ICT infrastructure and data through compliance with ICT policies.
- Oversee the coaching and development of team members.
- Manage the allocation of resources for the sub-directorate.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate.
- A National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (NQF 6/7) in Information Technology or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in the ICT field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of government policies and IT service management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, networking, and server administration.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
