What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the provision of financial management and reporting services.
  • Manage logistics, travel, and asset management services, along with supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and other relevant regulations.
  • Lead the budgetary processes including Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Estimates of National Expenditure (ENE).
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Advise senior management on financial matters and participate in policy formulation.
  • Engage with key stakeholders including National Treasury and the Auditor-General.
  • Drive change and operational excellence within the financial management function.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate NQF level 7/ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in financial management at the Senior Managerial level.
  • Registration as a Chartered Accountant is an advantage.
  • Strong strategic capabilities and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of government administrative processes and financial regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting, management accounting, and supply chain management.
