What You’ll Do

  • Manage international relations initiatives that advocate for the rights of Women, Youth, and Persons with Disabilities.
  • Coordinate stakeholder participation in programs aimed at socio-economic transformation.
  • Facilitate the establishment of mutual relations with strategic countries.
  • Engage and support various stakeholders across all governmental spheres.
  • Develop platforms for marginalized groups to express their needs and challenges.
  • Provide technical support and advice to enhance the rights of these groups.
  • Oversee the management of human and financial resources for the Chief Directorate.
  • Implement internal control systems and risk mitigation strategies.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in International Relations, Social Sciences, or Development Studies.
  • Completion of the National School of Government’s SMS Pre-Entry Programme.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior managerial role, particularly in the gender, youth, and disabilities sectors.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and government policy analysis.
  • Intimate knowledge of legislation concerning gender, youth, and disability empowerment.
  • Strong skills in policy formulation, implementation, and international relations.
