The Department of Social Development is looking for an experienced Chief Director: International Relations and Stakeholder in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Manage international relations initiatives that advocate for the rights of Women, Youth, and Persons with Disabilities.
- Coordinate stakeholder participation in programs aimed at socio-economic transformation.
- Facilitate the establishment of mutual relations with strategic countries.
- Engage and support various stakeholders across all governmental spheres.
- Develop platforms for marginalized groups to express their needs and challenges.
- Provide technical support and advice to enhance the rights of these groups.
- Oversee the management of human and financial resources for the Chief Directorate.
- Implement internal control systems and risk mitigation strategies.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in International Relations, Social Sciences, or Development Studies.
- Completion of the National School of Government’s SMS Pre-Entry Programme.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior managerial role, particularly in the gender, youth, and disabilities sectors.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and government policy analysis.
- Intimate knowledge of legislation concerning gender, youth, and disability empowerment.
- Strong skills in policy formulation, implementation, and international relations.
