What You’ll Do

• Manage and oversee all aspects of construction and maintenance projects.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate project work plans according to established methodologies.
• Identify resources needed for projects and assign responsibilities accordingly.
• Monitor day-to-day operations and ensure adherence to project standards.
• Prepare and submit project status reports to the Director: Infrastructure Development.
• Maintain accurate project records and manage documentation systems.
• Liaise with service providers and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with community needs.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies in the built environment.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate/Matric or equivalent qualification.
• A National Higher Diploma in a Built Environment field with at least 18 months’ experience, or a three-year Degree/National Diploma (NQF 6) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, or a BTech degree (NQF 7) with at least 1 year of experience.
• A Code 08 driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Compulsory registration as a Candidate Construction Project Manager with SACPCMP upon appointment.
• Knowledge of the Government Immovable Asset Management Act and project management principles.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects in a complex environment.
