What You’ll Do

• Manage and evaluate engineering drawings and designs for waste management license applications.
• Screen, review, and approve design reports and drawings related to waste management.
• Oversee the approval process for construction quality assurance and completion reports of licensed waste facilities.
• Develop and manage a case management system for engineering drawings and designs.
• Provide technical and research support regarding alternative waste materials.
• Create guidelines for engineering designs to meet relevant standards.
• Conduct research on climate change studies related to waste activities.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant qualification recognized by SAQA.
• At least three years of post-qualification experience in hydraulic, environmental, and geotechnical engineering.
• Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
• Knowledge of Waste Classification, Management Regulations, and National Norms and Standards.
• Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
