What You’ll Do

  • Administer personnel and physical security measures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive security awareness program for all staff.
  • Conduct security threats and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with external security agencies and other state organs.
  • Develop, implement, and review security policies to align with best practices.
  • Oversee and manage personnel effectively, ensuring a cohesive team effort in fulfilling security objectives.

What You’ll Need

  • A recognized Bachelor’s Degree, B. Tech, or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Security Management.
  • A Grade A PSIRA certificate is required, with completion of the SSA Security Advisory Course as an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a security-related role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and professionalism.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential, except for disabled applicants.
