What You’ll Do

  • Promote and enforce risk management services in provincial departments and municipalities.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with risk management policies and practices.
  • Provide technical support and capacity building to ensure effective risk management implementation.
  • Develop and maintain risk profiles for various departments and municipalities.
  • Conduct operational planning and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
  • Monitor performance agreements and assess staff performance for quality control.
  • Ensure timely submission of management reports to stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

  • A tertiary qualification (Degree) at NQF level 7 in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, or Internal Auditing.
  • Membership to the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) is an advantage.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management or auditing at Assistant Director level.
  • Proven experience in team management and supervision.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
