What You’ll Do
- Supervise and conduct risk assessments to identify and address potential risks in departmental operations.
- Implement risk management activities aligned with the approved Risk Management Framework.
- Develop and facilitate risk management awareness campaigns for employees and management.
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and coordinate simulation exercises for Business Continuity Plans.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on risk management practices.
- Maintain risk registers and monitor the effectiveness of risk response plans.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing notes for senior management and stakeholder engagements.
- Support the development and implementation of risk management policies and strategies.
What You’ll Need
- Matric/Grade 12 and a qualification at NQF Level 6 in Auditing, Finance, or Risk Management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience at a supervisory level, specifically in Risk Management.
- A valid driver’s license is required, except for applicants with disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, report writing, and presentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong strategic thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
