What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the implementation of the risk management framework and business continuity plans.
  • Develop and promote a risk management philosophy and culture within the organization.
  • Supervise studies and analysis to identify risks impacting the department’s internal and external environments.
  • Facilitate and advise on the risk assessment process, including compiling risk profiles and reports.
  • Monitor the progress of risk response activities and revise strategies as necessary.
  • Supervise staff to ensure effective risk and integrity management services are provided.
  • Coordinate the Ethics Management Strategy, including financial disclosures and compliance with relevant policies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, management, and colleagues through various channels, including presentations and workshops.
  • Provide secretariat support for Risk and Ethics Management Committees.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A postgraduate diploma in risk management or compliance is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in risk management or a related environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A keen attention to detail and a customer service orientation.
  • Effective planning and organizing skills.
  • A commitment to honesty and integrity in all professional dealings.
  • Proficiency in report writing.
