What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue collection in municipalities.
  • Coordinate reports related to the payment of government debts to municipalities.
  • Assess and report on the credibility of credit controls and debt policies in municipalities.
  • Design and coordinate municipal debt collection strategies and financial recovery plans.

What You’ll Need

  • A 3-Year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6/7 as recognized by SAQA.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance or revenue management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong competencies in planning, organizing, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) and related legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on client orientation and teamwork.
