What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with circuit managers to create effective, data-driven school improvement strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to manage interventions aimed at enhancing educational quality.
  • Develop comprehensive plans to address identified weaknesses in teaching and learning.
  • Evaluate circuit priorities and deliverables to ensure timely implementation of improvement plans.
  • Monitor the execution of responsive improvement strategies on behalf of the Department of Basic Education (DBE).
  • Oversee turnaround strategies for each identified circuit, ensuring sustainability and ongoing expertise.
  • Compile and present quarterly and annual reports on the progress of various educational programs.

What You’ll Need

  • A three-year qualification (NQF level 6) in Education, including professional teacher education, and registration with SACE.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience at a supervisory level, preferably as a deputy principal or principal.
  • Strong understanding of South Africa’s education sector and proven project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting performance data.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently for work.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
