What You’ll Do
- Establish and implement processes for knowledge creation and harvesting.
- Identify key business processes for effective knowledge management.
- Develop instruments and templates for knowledge harvesting.
- Create and maintain platforms for knowledge sharing and dissemination.
- Implement and oversee a knowledge management database/system.
- Develop and execute a Knowledge Management Awareness Plan.
- Maintain stakeholder engagement to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Supervise staff performance and contribute to team development.
- Provide knowledge management inputs for the Directorate’s Annual Operational Plan.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate B-degree (NQF Level 7) or a three-year Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Information Science, Information Management, Knowledge Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in an information or knowledge management environment.
- Strong knowledge of public service administration legislation and regulations, including DPSA, Knowledge Management Framework, PAIA, POPI, and NARSSA regulations.
- Proficiency in SharePoint and Viva Engage platforms.
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and change management skills.
- Good understanding of government programs, project management, and coordination.
- Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and client-focused approach.
- Strategic capability coupled with leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
