What You’ll Do
- Manage and coordinate Human Resource Management (HRM) administration tasks within the department.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection processes, including appointments, transfers, and verification of qualifications.
- Implement and manage the Performance Management and Development System across the province.
- Facilitate Labour Relations, Employee Wellness, and Learning and Development initiatives.
- Address HR administration inquiries and manage PERSAL transactions.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and public service policies regarding HRM.
- Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on HR administration matters.
- Prepare and consolidate HR reports and manage HRM registry services and records.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year National Diploma in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 with 360 credits.
- At least three years of relevant experience in a Human Resources Management environment, with one year at a supervisory level.
- Formal training in PERSAL is required.
- A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of HRM legislation, directives, and policies.
- Proficiency in the PERSAL system, MS Office, and report writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism.
