What You’ll Do
- Oversee and facilitate the administration of recruitment and selection processes.
- Manage conditions of service, remuneration, and employee benefits.
- Process appointments, promotions, and transfers within the department.
- Handle terminations of service and inter-departmental transfers.
- Supervise and provide guidance to HR staff members.
- Contribute to the digitization and automation of HR processes and systems.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate/Grade 12 Certificate/NQF 4 or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of a three-year National Diploma (NQF level 6) or Degree (NQF level 7) in Human Resource Management, Public Management and Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- PERSAL Administration and Leave Administration Certificates are required.
- At least three years of relevant experience, with a minimum of two years as an HR Officer or HR Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of the Human Resource Management Framework and related policies.
- Proficiency in the PERSAL System and relevant public service legislation.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Competence in computer and digital literacy, along with effective planning and organizing abilities.
