What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Office Administration.
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in an office service environment.
  • A valid driver’s license (Code B).
  • Knowledge of general administration, housing accommodation policy, and financial regulations.
  • Strong planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be in possession of NQF 6 in Public Administration/ Business Administration/ Office Administration as recognised by SAQA coupled with 3 years supervisory experience in an office service environment and a valid driver’s license (Code B).

Essential Knowledge, Skills And Competencies Required: The successful candidate must have:- Knowledge of general administration; housing accommodation policy; major and minor works; Financial regulations; Treasury regulations; PFMA; Public Service Act and Regulations; Departmental Delegations; National Archives Act; Occupational Health and Safety Act; good planning; team development; leadership skills; decision Making; problem solving; organising ability; basic financial management; employee development; project management; good communication skills (written and verbal) with other government organisations, private sector, NGOs and departmental staff and computer literacy.

Job Duties

The successful candidate will be required to provide effective office services and facilities management to the Department with the following responsibilities: Manage office Services; Manage departmental accommodation and facilitate major works on behalf of the Department; Manage minor maintenance services within the Department; Provide advice, guidance and input to policy, procedures and processes; Manage resources under your control.

Salary

R487 197 per annum (Level 09)
