What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the implementation of facilities and infrastructure projects at OCJ service centres.
  • Conduct accommodation needs audits to assess and plan for space requirements.
  • Manage office space planning and parking allocations effectively.
  • Ensure the day-to-day maintenance and functionality of OCJ service centres.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for the OCJ.
  • Coordinate and monitor maintenance services, ensuring timely reporting and updates on progress.
  • Manage contracts and support financial management within the sub-directorate.
  • Directly supervise and develop employees, including training and quality control of work performed.
  • Compile specifications and conduct inspections for cleaning services within the OCJ.
  • Oversee the management of resources, including equipment and materials.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma in Building Management, Construction Management, Project Management, Property, or Real Estate Management at NQF level 6 with 360 credits recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Facilities and Auxiliary services, with at least 1 year at a supervisory level.
  • A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, Building Regulations, and general built environment principles.
  • Strong skills in project management, report writing, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and planning skills.
