What You’ll Do
- Design and manage publications that align with the corporate brand during events.
- Organize and facilitate departmental events, ensuring all logistics are in place.
- Coordinate preparatory meetings and develop comprehensive events management plans.
- Monitor and maintain the events calendar, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
- Conduct environmental scans to identify suitable venues and manage logistical arrangements.
- Facilitate the drafting of invitations, agendas, and programs for events.
- Provide protocol services during official functions, ensuring correct seating arrangements and order of precedence.
- Compile reports on events, assessing their effectiveness and areas for improvement.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (National Diploma at NQF level 06) in Media Studies, Communications, Public Relations, Events Management, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in Events Management, Communications, or Public Relations within the public sector.
- A valid driver’s license is required, except for individuals with disabilities.
- Strong skills in event management, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and negotiating skills.
