What You’ll Do

  • Assist in evaluating policy requirements and user specifications for financial systems.
  • Help plan and implement new initiatives aimed at modernizing financial system capabilities.
  • Validate system functionalities against business requirements before deployment.
  • Coordinate change and release activities for system enhancements.
  • Maintain user access and conduct security reviews in line with governance processes.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and user documentation.
  • Conduct policy research in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Log and monitor incidents and service requests, supporting root-cause analysis.
  • Provide operational support for transversal financial management systems.
  • Ensure system availability during peak processing times and support data recovery efforts.
  • Develop communication circulars and coordinate user forums for system updates and training.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a minimum National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Analysis.
  • A certification in Project Management is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an application, system support, or operations environment.
  • Experience with transversal financial management systems and related support processes.
  • Knowledge of public-sector financial frameworks and end-user support in a multi-stakeholder context.
