What You’ll Do

  • Participate in a comprehensive 12-month training program designed to develop your prosecutorial skills.

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and policy directives issued by the National Director of Public Prosecutions during your training.
  • Prepare for and complete an entry examination as part of the selection process.
  • Collaborate with experienced Prosecutors and legal professionals to gain practical insights into the prosecutorial process.
  • Upon successful completion of the program, be prepared for placement opportunities across various offices in South Africa.

What You’ll Need

  • An LLB degree or an equivalent foreign qualification, with proof of accreditation from SAQA.
  • Final year LLB students may apply, provided they complete their degree before the program’s start date.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Demonstrable competency in acting independently, professionally, and with accountability and credibility.
