The National Prosecuting Authority is looking for passionate individuals to join as Aspirant Prosecutors across various locations in South Africa, including Johannesburg, Randburg, and Benoni. What You’ll Do
- Participate in a comprehensive 12-month training program designed to develop your prosecutorial skills.
- Engage in continuous assessments to evaluate your progress and readiness for the role of a Prosecutor.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and policy directives issued by the National Director of Public Prosecutions during your training.
- Prepare for and complete an entry examination as part of the selection process.
- Collaborate with experienced Prosecutors and legal professionals to gain practical insights into the prosecutorial process.
- Upon successful completion of the program, be prepared for placement opportunities across various offices in South Africa.
What You’ll Need
- An LLB degree or an equivalent foreign qualification, with proof of accreditation from SAQA.
- Final year LLB students may apply, provided they complete their degree before the program’s start date.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Demonstrable competency in acting independently, professionally, and with accountability and credibility.
