What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems within the facility to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Identify and address minor electrical faults to maintain safety and functionality.
  • Construct minor electrical projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure.
  • Attend to job cards and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Perform fault-finding on electrical systems to troubleshoot issues effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate recognized Trade Test Certificate as recognized by SAQA.
  • A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (with exceptions for people with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of relevant Acts and regulations related to electrical maintenance.
  • Understanding of health and safety measures in the workplace.
  • Proficiency in technical analysis and computer-aided technical applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication capabilities.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage tasks effectively.
