What You’ll Do

  • Assist with survey site preparations and conduct field surveys for data collection.
  • Carry out site preparation tasks according to directives, including clearing vegetation and loading equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain survey documents, as well as deliver and collect necessary documentation.
  • Support hydrographic surveys by assisting with the operation and maintenance of boats.
  • Clean and perform minor repairs on survey equipment and ensure proper storage.
  • Report any defects in equipment to supervisors and assist in visual inspections.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior/Grade 12 certificate is required.
  • One to three years of experience in engineering survey fieldwork is advantageous.
  • A valid, unexpired driver’s license is mandatory.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge related to safety protocols.
  • Basic understanding of hand tools and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate accountability and attention to detail.
