About the Role
The Western Cape Mobility Department is in search of a dedicated Administrative Officer: Pre Service Delivery based in Athlone. What You’ll Do
- Assist in processing applications for operating licenses efficiently.
- Facilitate communication and coordination for committee hearings.
- Utilize the PTRS System effectively to support operational functions.
- Supervise administrative tasks to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Prepare documentation for adjudication meetings and license cancellations.
- Manage information and records related to operating licenses.
What You’ll Need
- A 3-year National Diploma or B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification).
- A minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience in an operating license processing environment.
- Knowledge of the National Land Transport Act and related legislation.
- Strong skills in numeracy, literacy, computer literacy, and written and verbal communication.
- Ability to plan, organize, and meet tight deadlines while working under pressure.
- Competence in project management and problem-solving.
