What You’ll Do

  • Follow up on outstanding complaints and address enquiries to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Assist in planning and managing meetings, including diary coordination and venue bookings.
  • Take and distribute minutes of meetings to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Arrange travel logistics for managers in accordance with departmental directives.
  • Prepare and submit subsistence and travel claims for relevant approvals.
  • Administer the procurement process for goods and services within the sub-directorate.
  • Liaise with internal units regarding accommodation services as needed.
  • Maintain and update filing systems for Human Resources and procurement instructions.
  • Provide information for reports to internal and external clients.
  • Assist with the administration of the Archibus system when required.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Willingness to adapt your work schedule to meet office requirements.
  • Strong commitment to completing designated tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Numeracy and accounting skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations is advantageous.
  • Must be self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Patience, trustworthiness, and the ability to work under pressure are essential traits.
