What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Integrated Environmental Engineering Component.
- Assist in coordinating environmental compliance and the use of government waterworks.
- Maintain accurate records and support information management related to land rights administration.
- Implement and uphold administrative procedures and processes.
- Administer procurement activities in line with departmental guidelines.
- Keep track of goods and services procured for the component.
- Generate accurate statistics and maintain a register of departmental activities.
- Coordinate travel and logistics for meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements.
- Compile submissions and reports as assigned by your supervisor.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma or Degree in Public Management or Administration.
- Between one (1) to three (3) years of experience in administrative roles.
- A valid unexpired driver’s license.
- Experience in the environmental management sector is an advantage.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic financial management principles.
- Familiarity with the National Water Act and National Environmental Management Act.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in report writing.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational capabilities and a client-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage people and diversity effectively.
- A commitment to accountability, ethical conduct, and problem-solving.
