What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage claims and payments for construction projects.
- Collect and receive invoices from Registry Services and ensure accurate capturing on the Re-a-Patala payment tracking system.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies related to payment certificates.
- Provide administrative support for project documentation and correspondence.
- Maintain and update the WCS and Re-a-Patala databases.
- Disseminate project status reports and handle queries from consultants and contractors.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Render general clerical support, including managing the filing system and leave register.
- Support financial administration by capturing and updating component expenditure.
- Coordinate meetings and workshops, preparing necessary documents and minutes.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Public Administration, Project Administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in Office Administration or Project Administration.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of project principles, methodologies, and reporting procedures.
- Ability to work independently and effectively plan and organize tasks.
- Understanding of project management within the built environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with WCS systems or experience in the built environment industry is an advantage.
