Tygerberg Hospital is seeking a dedicated Administration Clerk in Supply Chain Management (Stores) to join its team in Parow Valley. What You’ll Do
- Receive and manage inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels.
- Issue supplies and follow up with suppliers to maintain stock availability.
- Capture documentation on the Inventory/Supply Chain System and maintain organized filing systems.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures related to warehouse processes.
- Respond to queries from suppliers and end-users via telephone and in writing.
- Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving items, and report findings to your supervisor.
- Provide support to your supervisor in managing daily operations effectively.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a subject.
- Relevant experience in stores and inventory management.
- Willingness to rotate within the Supply Chain Management Section as needed.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Instructions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with warehousing/logistics systems and processes.
