What You’ll Do

  • Manage the office support functions of the Inspectorate Naval Ordinance (INO)
  • Oversee the Administration Section of INO, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
  • Administer the INO registry and related administrative functions, maintaining accurate records
  • Manage the South African Naval Ammunition Service Life Monitoring Database
  • Advise INO members on relevant administrative changes and updates
  • Perform divisional functions as required, including administration of the Work Attendance Register

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of general office administration and the ability to manage office tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming environment
  • Supervisory, planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities
  • Good telephone etiquette and typing skills
